Beşiktaş Women Volleyball Team defeated  Kızılyıldız with 3-2 in the 9th match of the Indesit European Women Champions League and continued its chance to be among the first 6 teams of Europe to the last week.

Even though Beşiktaş won the first set with 25-16, Kızılyıldız was successful during the second set with a score 22-25, achieved a deuce 1-1. Making the score 2-1 after an easy game during the 3rd set with 25-14, the Black & White team lost the 4th set with a score 25-27. Beşiktaş succeeded to win this challenging match 3-2 against Kızılyıldız, with a score 15-6 in the 5th set.
Beşiktaş Coach Cengiz Göllü stated that they continued their chance to qualify among the first 6 teams of Europe to the last week, and added:
"We are very happy to win this challenging match and preserve our position at the 4th rank. We will play against Tenerife next week. We will try to do our best at this match too."
