Besiktas Men’s Basketball Team beat Pepinster of Belgium 76-74 in their first away game in the European League Group B. Ratko Varda was the architect of the victory with the 25 points he scored.

Besiktas, who started the Turkish Basketball League well by defeating Pinar Karsiyaka 87-75, won their first game in the European League as well. The Team in Black and White finished the first quarter and the first half-time of the game behind, with scores of 22-18 and 47-39, respectively. Besiktas played a better game than their opponents during the 3rd quarter and captured the lead with 1-point difference in the score, of 59-60 and sustained their successful play in the last quarter, winning the game 76-74.
