Besiktas Men’s Basketball Team, who hosted the unbeaten leader Nahariya in their 7th game in the European League played in BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex, raised their position to group leadership by leaving the complex with a victory of 82-72 and gave their opponents their first defeat.

 

Beşiktas started the match played in BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex well and closed the first quarter with a score of 25-18 in front. The team in Black and White also started the second quarter playing effectively and closed the half with a 43–40 lead. Besiktas virtually erased their opponents from the field during the 3rd quarter and entered the last quarter of the game with a leading score of 64-48. They prevented the efforts by the Israeli team to close the gap in the last quarter and finished the game l82-72 in front after displaying a comfortable play.
Beşiktas knocked Nahariya who came to Istanbul undefeated over as well, and moved to the lead in standings with 6 wins at the end of 7 games, continuing the victory series in their home games and causing their opponents to experience the first defeat.
