Black Eagles back on winning ways

Beşiktaş Milangaz rolled over mighty Anadolu Efes 83-76 in final game of 2011

With a line up of Zoran Erceg, Serhat, Can, Hawkins and Mensah-Bonsu, the Black and Whites started slow and were down 20-18 at the end of the opening quarter. Teams exchanged baskets throughout the second stanza with Beşiktaş Milangaz narrowly ahead, 57-56, on a buzzer-beater trey by Can Akın.    

Black Eagles came roaring out of the locker room, getting back-to-back buckets from newcomer Arroyo and opened up a double-digit lead, 79-67, after three quarters. In the final frame, visiting Efes tried desperately to find a way into the game, but the determined Beşiktaş Milangaz would not budge as they held on for a 7-point victory. Zoran Erceg led the Eagles with a game-high 28 points, followed by Mensah-Bonsu who had 15.
