Black Eagles made a slow start into their home Super League match at Tupraş Stadium, and early goals from Güven Yalçın put them 2-0 behind just after 16 minutes. They managed to pull one back through Orkun Kökçü’s 32nd-minute penalty, and it was 2-1 for the visitors at the break. Beşiktaş started the second half more positively, and the new Black Eagle from South Korea Oh Hyeon-gyu levelled the scores with a wonderful bicycle kick on 54 minutes. Buoyed by the equaliser, the home side went after the winner, but were forced to settle for a point.
