The home side Beşiktaş looked more threatening in the first half but failed to get on the scoresheet. The visitors responded ten minutes later when Cherif Ndiaye pounced on a poor back-pass and levelled the scores at 1-1. Both teams threw players forward in the remaining minutes of the match, but neither side could find a winner as they shared the spoils.
