However, they bounced back to tie the game at 30-30 going into halftime. Tightening up defensively, the Black and Whites pulled ahead 42-38 at the end of third quarter and then pushed their lead further in the final stanza, carrying a 12-point advantage into the second leg in Istanbul. Temi Fagbenle led Beşiktaş with 22 points while teammate Dana Evans poured in 19 points of her own.
