New Black Eagle Rafa Silva speaks to press

Beşiktaş’ new signing Rafa Silva held a press conference in Club’s Slovenia camp and made the following comments:

“This is my first time playing abroad. My adaptation to Beşiktaş has been fast. Everyone has made me feel very welcome here."

"Beşiktaş is a big community, and I am proud to be part of it. On the other hand, I will never forget Benfica. It will always be an important team in my career. However, my current goal is what I will do here"

 "My transfer  was completed in a very short time. I already had the idea of continuing my career in Europe and I knew Beşiktaş in advance. Besiktas has the capacity to fulfill everything in my mind. That's why I came here."

"Before coming here, I didn't talk to Ricardo Quaresma. But he is definitely a legend here. As a Portuguese citizen, he has been a great source of pride for me.  Like him, I want to make a positive impact and be remembered in Turkiye for many years to come."

"I want to be successful not only individually but collectively as well.  For that reason, I will do my best for Beşiktaş to win trophies. 

"I've played in three different positions during my career.   I prefer to play number 10 in the middle, in the center. I feel more comfortable there. However, it is up to our coach to decide."

"I would like to say this to Beşiktaş fans. We will do our best to bring success to Beşiktaş. We're going to work real hard towards that goal. I promise you that."
