EuroCup finalists Beşiktaş BOA return to Istanbul

Beşiktaş supporters greeted  the 2024 Eurocup Women runners-up Beşiktaş BOA  with flowers and cheers at Sabiha Gökçen Airport.

In his speech at the airport, Beşiktaş JK Chairman Hasan Arat said: "We are proud of our girls. They made history. Our head coach, team captain and coordinator are all products of  Beşiktaş youth system.  Our team represented Turkiye very well at this tournament."  

Beşiktaş BOA Head Coach Aziz Akkaya added "There is a bittersweet joy in all of us. It is an  honour for us to be in the final, to be in that great environment and  to represent Beşiktaş in the best way possible. I would like to thank all my players. They fought real well. I would also like to thank Beşiktaş Chairman Hasan Arat and  the fans for their support." 

Beşiktaş BOA Captain Elif Bayram also made the following statement: "I am proud to be the captain of this team. We wanted to win the trophy and came real close to it. I think we will definitely lift this trophy in the coming years. I would like to thank everyone who supported and believed in us."
