Club statement on measures taken against coronavirus (COVID-19)

As announced by the Turkish Sports and Youth Minister Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, all futbol, basketball, volleyball and handball leagues in Turkey are postponed until a later date.

Within this framework, Beşiktaş JK Executive Board, led by the Chairman Ahmet Nur Çebi, has decided to implement a series of preventive measures at the Club:

1-Except to meet their urgent needs, all Beşiktaş JK players are asked to shelter-in-place and avoid overseas trips.

2- Until further notice, the activities of Beşiktaş JK players and personnel at the Club have been temporarily halted, and they are sent home on paid leave.

3- The club personnel will now carry out their work from home.

4- Beşiktaş JK Museum and the Club’s official merchandise stores across Turkey will be closed immediately as a preventive measure for the health of the employees and fans.
