Lady Eagles go down in Capital City

With a starting five composed of İlona Korstin, İlsu Darıcıoğlu, Yasemin Horasan, Candice Dana Wiggins and Ebony Hoffman, the Black and Whites played tenacious defence in the opening quarter and were up 13-11. The tight battle continued through the second with Beşiktaş taking a slim 21-19 lead into the dressing room.

TED Kolejliler opened the third stanza with consecutive jumpers and went on to secure an 8-point, 36-28, cushion before the final quarter. While Beşiktaş sharpshooters started to hit nothing but the rim, the home team took full control in the fourth to roll to a 53-46 victory.  Yasemin Horasan led the Lady Eagles with 17 points followed by Candice Wiggins who poured in 11.
