Visiting Beşiktaş Professional Football Team lost 3-2 to Trabzonspor during the 22nd week of Turkcell Super League. Bobo (24th min.) and Ricardinho (36 min.) were the goal scores for Black & Whites.

Selçuk Dereli refereed this well contested game played in Avni Aker Stadium under wet snow. Both teams stepped on the field with a banner encouraging the widespread use of the present tax system.

Despite an early superiority of the home side, Beşiktaş eventually gained control of the game and came close to scoring in the 20th minute with Delgado. Four minutes later, Bobo put Beşiktaş 1-0 in front with a perfect shot taken outside the penalty zone. In the 36th minute of the game, this time our other Brazilian star Ricardinho took the center stage and sent Koray's deflected shot into the wide open net of Trabzonspor (2-0). The first half ended with 2-0 superiority of Black & Whites.

After making two key changes in its lineup, home side started to display a more attacking football in the second half. New addition Ersen Martin reduced the difference to 1 in the 53th minute (2-1) and Umut tied the score two minutes later (2-2). Same player registered his second and his team’s third goal in the 60th minute (3-2). Since both teams could not change the scoreboard during the remaining time, the game ended 3-2 in favor of Trabzonspor.
