On March 8th International Women's Day, Beşiktaş JK once again showed how much it cares about women.

Beşiktaş JK, the club of firsts in Turkiye, has set up the hergunumsun.org (You are my everyday) platform in order to carry women's thoughts, aspirations  suggestions, memories and feelings about sports into the future and thus create an important archive.

The platform, which was established mainly for  Beşiktaş’ women fans, was launched by a women's team of 11 people, including women artists, academics, lawyers and athletes who support Beşiktaş, at the Fashion Center of Tüpraş Stadium.

The specially composed song titled  #hergunumsun, which the women of Beşiktaş dedicated to all our women, was played  for the first time at the event. The women’s team members, who took the stage one by one, made speeches about their sports fields, and wrote their thoughts in  platform’s memorial book.

At the event, it was emphasized that Beşiktaş always attached high importance to women's rights, advocated gender equality, and ensured that more women involved in sports. Since it is necessary to pay attention to the thoughts of women every day, the platform is named  “hergunumsun”  meaning “you are my everyday”.

The event was attended by Beşiktaş Chairman Hasan Arat, Vice-Chairman Hüseyin Yücel, the women members of our Beşiktaş Board of Directors Altın Mimir and Işıl Zeybek, along with  a number of club's women general assembly members.

The platform was launched on March 8th International Women's Day, and  Beşiktaş Chairman  Hasan Arat also took the stage and said: " Our women athletes have always been an important part of our community. I believe there should be no sports club board of directors without women. We have to put that into our  charter.. There is a quota for women members in European sports organizations.  The same practice should be applied in our country as well. The hard work and perseverance of the two women on our board of directors have been incredible. Atatürk entrusted this country to the Turkish youth, both to girls and boys.  Happy Women's Day!"

In addition to the digital platform, women will also be able to post their messages through the notebook at the entrance of Beşiktaş JK Museum located inside the Tüpraş Stadium.
