“Of course, this is not a pretty result. We tried to fight with the players we had and played well at times. In the second half, our lack of squad was exposed. Some players coming off the bench need more time.
Our primary concern is to solve the team’s new manager issue. I don't want to announce any names without a signature. A new coach will be in charge as soon as possible.
We presently have thirteen foreign players. We can't sign any new foreign player without parting ways with some of them. We will figure a way out. Besiktas have always overcome these types of problems, and the current situation should not worry any Beşiktaş fan. We shall overcome the difficulties by standing together as a community.
Our goal this season is to qualify for next season’s European tournaments. The team's shortcomings are obvious. After consulting with our new manager, we will bring in the players we need. Besiktas always have a B plan.
We are not showing the required consistency and not battling enough on the pitch. We must continue with a stronger and more ambitious team from now on. We want to create a Beşiktaş who can play like a college team.”
