The Honorary Chairman of Koç Holding and the oldest living member of Beşiktaş Mr. Rahmi M. Koç visited the newly-elected Beşiktaş Chairman Hasan Arat in his office at Tüpraş Stadium today.

During the visit, which was also attended by Beşiktaş Board Members, Football Director Samet Aybaba, Captain Necip Uysal and a number of  legendary Beşiktaş players, Rahmi Koç congratulated Hasan Arat and the Club’s Board Members and wished them success in their new duties.

At the end of the visit, Beşiktaş Chairman Hasan Arat presented Rahmi Koç with a  Beşiktaş jersey with the number 100 on the back, which was specially prepared for the 100th Anniversary of Turkish Republic.  

After the visit, Mr. Rahmi Koç, our Chairman Hasan Arat and our Board Members visited the Beşiktaş JK Museum inside the Tüpraş Stadium.

The section of the museum which was dedicated to Mr. Koç displayed his photographs taken with  Beşiktaş legend and  Honorary President late Süleyman Seba at past Beşiktaş events and a document from the Club’s registry book showing his membership number 873.   

Finally, Mr. Rahmi Koç, whose emotion did not go unnoticed during his visit, cut the Tüpraş Stadium-themed cake and celebrated the New Year of the participants and  Beşiktaş fans around the world.
