Dear Beşiktaş Community,

As you have already been informed, all official sports events in Turkey are postponed indefinitely due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. We hope and pray that this global crisis ends soon, and we can return to our normal schedule.

On the other hand, since your health is much more to important to us than our remaining matches, please stay safe and follow the COVID-19 guidelines to help contain the virus from spreading.

In the battle against the outbreak, Beşiktaş JK has quickly assumed its social responsibilities and taken a series of preventive measures. Within this framework, we have granted our club personnel and players paid leave so they can carry out their work from home.

I also want to thank everyone who is doing their part in this fight against COVID-19 and practicing social distancing. Especially to the Beşiktaş Supporting University Students (UNIBJK) who are meeting the needs of our elderly citizens that need to stay at home as a risky group.

With another rich and exciting content, Beşiktaş Magazine will be back on the stands in the month of May. I have no doubt that you will get your own copy and support the Club.

I take this opportunity to convey my deepest condelences to the families of those who have lost their loved ones to COVID-19 and wish speedy recovery for those who are receiving treatment. Keep practicing social distancing by staying at home and avoiding close contact with others at all times! If we observe the rules, the better days will not be too far away.
