Beşiktaş JK’s experienced and hard-working midfielder Attiba Hutchinson who currently leads the Turkish Super League with 94.6 percent pass completion, has been named “The Top Canadian Male Soccer Player of the Year” by the Canadian Soccer Association after a voting conducted amongst the Canadian coaches and sports media.

The 34-year-old midfielder from Brampton, Ontario, helped Besiktas to its second straight Turkish league title in 2016-17. Hutchinson and Besiktas have also reached the round-of-16 of the UEFA Champions League following a Turkish-record performance in the group stage.
