In Teledünya Turkish Cup Second Round first game, visiting Beşiktaş Men’s Volleyball defeated Tofaş, 3-1, at the Bursa Ataturk Sports Hall on Wednesday.

Beşiktaş seized the opening set, 25-22, but Tofaş came back to capture the second 25-23 and tied the score at one set apiece. Unfazed Eagles were too hot to handle for the home side in the third as they rolled to a 25-19 win that gave them a 2-1 lead in the match. The fourth set was a seesaw affair from the start to finish, but the Black and White prevailed 26-24 to take the match, 3-1.
If the Eagles win the return game in Istanbul, they will advance to the semifinals. Any Tofaş win will force the teams to play out a 15-point golden set to decide the qualifier.
