Beşiktaş Boss Bernd Schuster commented on his team’s performance after the Eskişehirspor match:

"Compared to last week, we looked terrible out there. Eskişehirspor did not outplay us on any department but knew how to win. I didn’t see the position Guti got his yellow card. The fourth referee did not come up with a satisfactory explanation either. I strongly think that it was a harsh decision from the referee. Guti’s absence cost us the game in the second half. The referees should be more careful with the cards.  
We decided to travel on the matchday because Eskişehir was not too far away from Istanbul. It’s nonsense to claim that a half an hour flight did tire us out. There were other reasons why we lost this match, and we will look into them when we get back"
