Beşiktaş Cola Turka 96, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality 75

Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball routed the visiting Antalya Metropolitan Municipality
96-75 in Week 9 game at the Arena Saturday.

The Eagles got off to a strong start and rode the scoring of Ignerski, Cevher Özer and
Likhalitov to jump out to a 14-6 advantage three and a half minutes into the game. Antalya
Municipality rallied back behind Muratcan Güler, Christopher, Polat Kocaoğlu and Chism
to trim the margin to two at 17-15 with 3:10 to go on the clock before the Black and White
recovered and took a 25-17 cushion into the second quarter.
Fueled by back-to-back layups from Ogilvy and Ignerski, the Eagles broke loose in the second
to pull away for a 26-point, 56-30 halftime lead. Ignerski led Beşiktaş Cola Turka with 22
points in the first half.
The teams exchanged baskets throughout the third frame with the Black and White, despite
being outscored 18-16, remaining on top, 72-48, after three quarters of play. The Eagles never
looked back in the fourth en route to an impressive 96-57 victory. Allen Iverson sat this one
out with a knee injury.
