In the first leg of EHF Cup 3rd round, Beşiktaş Men’s Handball Team lost 26-23 to Zarya Kaspiya in Russia.

The Russians stormed to a 14-9 half time lead, but the Eagles managed to cut the deficit to 26-23 in the end. The close score gave the Black and White a serious advantage for the return match in Istanbul. The two teams will face each other again for the second leg, scheduled to take place at the BJK Süleyman Seba Sports Hall on November 27 at 5:00 pm.
