Beşiktaş 1- 1 Kasımpaşa

In a Week 11 match at the Fiyapı Inonu Stadium, the Black Eagles were surprisingly held to a 1-1 draw by the last placed Kasımpaşa with their lone goal coming from defender İsmail Köybaşı five minutes before full-time.

The game was refereed by Bülent Yıldırım, and devoted home fans packed the stands as usual to cheer Beşiktaş on.
The Black and White took the game to Kasımpaşa from the opening whistle and pinned the visitors into their own half for most of the first 45 minutes. But kasımpaşa defence managed to survive all the pressure as they carried a clean sheet into the break.
Beşiktaş replaced Mehmet Aurelio, Holosko and Erhan Güven with Quaresma, Tabata and Hilbert in the second half and continued to make Kasımpaşa work. However, it would be the visitors who would score first. A cool finish by Ersen Martin put Kasımpaşa unexpectedly ahead on 77 minutes. The goal seemed to spark the Eagles to dig deeper, and their pressure was rewarded with an equaliser through İsmail Köybaşı a short time later. The Black and White pressed for the winner in the remaining minutes and found the net again in stoppage time, but referee Bülent Yıldırım disallowed the goal for some type of infraction he has yet to explain. Nevertheless, Beşiktaş had a golden opportunity to steal the show a minute later when Nihat Kahveci was brought down inside the box. But keeper Tolga Özgen stopped Guti’s penalty with a diving save to earn Kasımpaşa a precious point.
