Beşiktaş men’s handball doubled up Izmir Metropolitan Municipality 28-14 in a Week 6 match at the Süleyman Seba Sports Hall.

Spurred on by an outstanding performance by keeper İbrahim Demir and the new addition Tolga Özbahar, the Black and Whites took control from the start and jumped out to a 4-goal advantage after 10 minutes. They managed to keep the difference intact rest of the way and were up, 13-8, trotting into the locker room at the half. 
The Eagles never looked back in the second half as the margin grew to 10 goals at the midway point. The visitors tried desperately to close the gap in dying minutes, but Beşiktaş refused to get caught and walked off the court with a 28-14 victory.
