In a Week 4 action at the BJK Cola Turka Arena, Beşiktaş Cola Turka men’s basketball smacked visiting Bornova Municipality 89-76.

The visitors came out flying and pulled ahead 13-4 midway through the quarter. The Eagles managed to overcome their shooting woes near the end but still trailed 26-17, going into the second.
Although, Beşiktaş Cola Turka did crawl within a point at the half way mark, a late surge gave Bornova a 48-37 advantage at the intermission.
The Eagles looked much sharper in the third as they rallied to bring the deficit down to 56-51 five minutes into the quarter. They then tightened up on defense and kept their opponents away from the basket.  While the visitors struggled to regain their rhythm, a last second 3-pointer by Bekir Yarangüme helped Beşiktaş Cola Turka take a 63-62 edge into the final showdown.
The Black and White turned the heat up on Bornova in the fourth quarter as they stretched their lead with a string of unanswered layups en route to a well-deserved 89-76 victory.
