Ceyhan Municipality downed the visiting Beşiktaş Cola Turka women’s basketball 70-65 in a Week 3 contest at Ceyhan Sports Hall.

The home team made a strong start and stormed into a 27-17 lead after one. The Lady Eagles tried to regroup in the second, but their host had the game in complete control and did not allow them to get too close. It was 45-34 for Ceyhan Municipality at the break.
Thanks to a barrage of threes, Beşiktaş Cola Turka got back on tract in the second half and was down by only four at 54-50 after three quarters of play.
After Esra Şencebe hit another 3-pointer to start the fourth, Santos followed it with a layup to fire the Black and White on top, 55-54 for the first time. Then, the game turned into a see-saw affair with the lead changing hands several times. The stubborn Eagles put together a late run in the thrilling closing minutes but failed to take over as Ceyhan Municipality escaped with a 70-65 win.
