Beşiktaş Women’s Basketball Team was defeated 61-52 against Fenerbahçe in the game played for the Presidential Cup and the opponent grabbed the Cup.

The game for the 13th Presidential Cup was played in Abdi İpekçi Sports Hall. Our team, a first time participant in the Cup, left the court feeling down at the end of the game which had witnessed a great fight. While the first period of the game was ended with opponent leading 18-10, Beşiktaş, which was the more effective in offense in the 2nd half, went to the locker room 28-26 leading. Fenerbahçe took the lead 41-40 in the 3rd period which was a stage for a major contest and took advantage of the mistakes Beşiktaş made in the 4th period and won the game 61-52 and had the Presidential Cup.
