Technical Director Rıza Çalımbay answered the questions of the reporters in the weekly press conference held at BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities. Çalımbay who congratulated the triumph of the national team against Ukraine said that they wanted to win the Ç. Rizespor game and to play the Malmö and Fenerbahçe fights with high morale.  

Rıza Çalımbay first commented on the critic Ukraine victory of our National Team in the World Cup eliminations and said “I congratulate our National Team for the victory against Ukraine. Notably Fatih Terim, all technical staff and the players, in a great mood, grabbed a very important victory for us out of a tough game played away. I personally believe that our National Team will go to Germany.”
Çalımbay underlined that the Black & White footballers playing for the National Team have been performing their duties in the National Team the best way possible and said “Success which our National Team obtained has made us all very happy. Our objective as Beşiktaş is to send more of our players to the National Teams and become partners of that success.”
On the other hand, Rıza Çalımbay said the following concerning the Çaykur Rizespor game which they will play in the opponent’s home in the 5th week of the Turkcell Super League:
“The game against Çaykur Rizespor which we will play at the opponent team’s home is one of our toughest games.  First of all I should state that the interruption due to the national games may lead to concentration problems in our team, just like any other team. Moreover, considering their position, this game is very important for Rize.  However, we will play in this game with “definite victory” understanding, just like any other one. Our objective is to make a good start in a tough period which will begin with this game and continue with Malmö and Fenerbahçe games.”
