Turkey tied against Denmark with score 2-2 in the game played at BJK İnönü Stadium for the European Eliminations of the 18th World Cup. Goals of our National Team were scored by our players Okan Buruk and Tümer Metin.

İbrahim Toraman and Tümer Metin of our own began the game in the first 11 players. The first goal of the game was scored by Denmark. The national Team which could not prevent the goal scored by Claus Jensen on the 41st minute wrapped up the first half 1-0 behind.
Okan Buruk entered the game in the 2nd half and scored the goal which tied the score for our team on the 48th minute thanks to his magnificent kick. Our player Tümer Metin was the player to use the free kick obtained on the 81st minute, and he put the National Team 2-1 ahead with a superb kick.
The normal period in the fight was ended and as the spectators in the grandstands were beginning to experience the joy of winning, Denmark scored the second goal. Larsen scored the goal on 90+3 and the game ended with a score of 2-2.
