Beşiktaş Chess Team made the 1st and the 2nd places in the Turkey Championship and achieved a great success.

Umut Atakişi and Yakup Erturan of Beşiktaş obtained 8, 5 points in the end of the competition played over 12 games in the form of league. Umut Atakişi and Yakup Erturan, both had the same points, played for the title and Atakişi became the champion and Erturan made the 2nd place. Alper Olcayöz, the other player from Beşiktaş obtained 7, 5 points and made the 4th place.
