Beşiktaş: 78 - Efes Pilsen: 93

Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team lost the 3rd game of the play-off final series 93-78 to Efes Pilsen at Akatlar. Efes Pilsen advanced to a 3-1 lead in the series.

Beşiktaş set off the game with a starting line-up of Ratko Varda, Haluk Yıldırım, Khalid El-Amin, Andrew Ellis and Bekir Yarangüme. While Beşiktaş tried to produce points via fast breaks Efes Pilsen was effective with perimeter shots and in the paint. In spite of Efes Pilsen had entered the final 3 minutes 14-19 up, it was Beşiktaş that had leveled the score at 21-21 within 1.5 minutes concluded the period 26-23 up.
Both teams started the 2nd period with man-to-man defense. Efes Pilsen especially was not successful in perimeter shots in the first minutes. Black and Whites did not give Efes Pilsen easy point opportunities with its successful performance in defense. First 5 minutes progressed with Beşiktaş’s lead of 30-29. Solomon and Domercant’s successive 3-pointers against the zone defense provided Efes Pilsen concluding the 2nd period 38-43 up.
Beşiktaş started the 3rd period with Varda’s basket (40-43). Erkan Veyseloğlu's 3 points from basket foul diminished the deficit to 2 (43-45).  Efes Pilsen continued zone defense whereas Beşiktaş utilized man-to-man defense. The score got equalized at 49-49 with 5.5 minutes remaining with El-Amin and Erkan’s baskets. Efes Pilsen that had succeeded greatly in perimeter shots especially with Domercant entered the final period up by 9 points with a score of 59-68.
Beşiktaş that had defended well in the first minutes of the final period produced points with El-Amin, Tolga Tekinalp, Brett Maher and Varda. Black and Whites cut the deficit to 4 with 4 minutes 45 seconds remaining in the game (71-75). Efes Pilsen re-increased the deficit with points of Solomon and Domercant and left the competition as victors with a score of 78-93 and progressed to a lead of 3-1 in the series.
