Born on 5 April 1926 in Hendek, Sakarya City, Seba joined Beşiktaş JK junior team in 1943 and moved up to the seniors a couple of years later. He made history by becoming the first Turkish player to score a goal at the now-defunct Inonu Stadium. After 8 successful seasons with the Black Eagles, during which he netted 44 goals, Seba retired from active football and assumed administrative positions at the club.  In 1984, he was elected to the Chairmanship of Beşiktaş JK, and throughout his club-record 16 seasons, he won 5 Turkish League Championships, 4 Turkish Cups and 4 Presidency Cups. In addition to these titles, Seba built numerous sports facilities for the club and opened Beşiktaş JK College. After stepping down in 2000, he served as the Honorary Chairman until his death. Seba passed away at the Istanbul, American Hospital, where he was receiving treatment, on 13 August 2014.
